The greatest influence you have as a leader is the influence on your personal leadership. You harness that optimally in connection with yourself.
Life is filled with challenges, setbacks, and obstacles, ranging from small to large: we may face (serious) illnesses or burnout, or we see loved ones struggling with their health. We may encounter accidents or the loss of our loved ones. We may also face fertility problems when having children is a deep desire. Even having a family is challenging, with the stress of the toddler years or the turbulence of the teenage phase. These challenges are just a few examples of the challenges we encounter on our life's journey.
This demands a lot of resilience, and that's not easy.
Especially when, alongside personal matters, we are also confronted with the expectations and pressures of work. You want to deliver results, and everyone wants something from you. This makes you feel the pressure to perform and leaves little time for self-reflection. Yet, self-reflection is crucial in difficult times. The lack of moments for introspection can lead to a lack of awareness of personal values, motivations, passions, and needs.
During challenges in your life, you may also find it difficult showing your vulnerability, fearing judgment or weakness. This can prevent you from being authentic and fully expressing yourself.
Often, as humans, we hold unrealistically high expectations of ourselves. Constantly striving for perfection can lead to self-alienation because you don't allow yourself to be human and imperfect.
In this quest, it's common to find that you're losing energy, which you so desperately need in the various roles you fulfill daily to keep everything going.
You're not alone, as this is something we all encounter as humans.
Recognizing causes is an important first step towards restoring the connection with yourself. Discover the power of authentic leadership, where you can truly be loyal to yourself, and take the first step towards a deeper connection with yourself and the people around you.

Reflection (4 weeks after the journey)
It's a journey you haven't experienced before, why?
There are plenty of trainings and/or programs that focus on skills and abilities, and you've probably experienced some of them. In this program, we exclusively operate on the level of identity, meaning we delve into your core identity. It can be challenging at times, but the real change happens there.
2. You discover your deeper family patterns
We return to the essence, and we do that by spending a lot of time in nature. Experiencing stimuli and stepping out of ourcomfort zone. It may be challenging at times, but by going back to the essence, transformation can occur.
Nicole Solleveld and Aleid Haenen, owners of YourConnector! As owners and leaders, we understand your challenges because we have experienced them ourselves. Nicole is happy to share her personal story:
Cancer and still being very happy. Can those coexist? September 18, 2019, the day that will never fade from our hearts. The day we were told my husband has leukemia. A journey that has shaped us over the past 4 years and remains a path of emotions, resilience, and adaptation.
What if you know leukemia, despite various treatments, will never go away. How do you then continue (happily) living with cancer? We aim to lovingly embrace the disease and keep it under control rather than fighting against it. However, we have said to each other: how do we want to shape our lives if life cannot be planned anyway? What are our dreams?
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ Leukemia has reshaped our lives, leading to a smaller but more meaningful existence. We have largely settled in Southern Spain, surrounded by the warmth of the sun, the clean mountain air, and spending much time outdoors.
๐ Creating a self-sufficient life. Eating from our own backyard, knowing where your food comes from. Teaching our children what it's like to grow and harvest your own food. Back to basics: nature.
And of course, the dark cloud of 'not knowing' remains. But doesn't this apply fundamentally to everyone? After all, you never know what might happen in a day. The illness journey has taught us to appreciate what truly matters in life. And that is also the life we are living together now.
At the same time, it is extremely tough and it has a significant impact on your relationship, your work, and your surroundings. We have taken action and continue to do so.
Life is littered with challenges, setbacks, and obstacles, ranging from small to large. But how do you deal with them? We are convinced that personal leadership plays a crucial role in dealing with challenges in life. It's about taking control of your own life, your choices, and your responses to events.
When you're connected to yourself while strengthening your personal leadership, you can become more resilient. It enables you to consciously choose how to respond to challenges and to continue developing as an individual.
That's why we have developed this 5-day revolutionary journey for you!
Take your first step inward today, and forge a connection with yourself!
